They bend the physics of light to their extremes to allow a large angle of view to be captured within the frame with minimal distortion. Landscaping works to beautify a space and accentuate the exterior areas of a building or common area. It can also serve as a functional extension such as a playing field or playground safety measure.
Landscape photography falls in closely with architectural photography but can require a different approach. It is subject to plant growth and weather conditions as it is primarily exterior. This can usually mean shooting at a particular time of day to maximise the colours of the flora or the sky for maximum contrast and a vivid pop.
